ChangeLog for src2pkg-helpers-x.x.tar.bz2 gILBERT aSHLEY Version 0.1 Feb 2008 - Initial release Version-0.2 - created a build script for assembling the combined source archive. Some directories are removed from the coreutils archive to reduce the size of the final archive. The Makefile.am, Makefile.in and configure.ac files are patched to ignore the removed directories and then a new configure file is regenerated. This updated source version does not require updating the src2pkg-helpers packages since it does not make any changes to the binaries and libraries produced when building the src2pkg-helpers binary package. Version-0.3 November 2008 - updated to libsentry-0.6.7.5. Development of the original installwatch library has resumed and most of the changes included in libsentry are now included in the offical installawtch library. Felipe sanchez, the maintainer and developer of installwatch, also added some code which completes some work I had started in libsentry. So, these changes were backported from the installwatch repository to the current version of libsentry. The patches for the tar-1.13 program have been re-worked and a couple of new things added including auto-detection of archive type, based on the file name extension. Support for lzma archives was also added. This new version of src2pkg-helpers requires the src2pkg user to update to this version as the current version of tar includes a couple of extra patches which required syntax changes in the src2pkg code. Version-0.4 April 2009 - Added unionfs-fuse-0.23 sources to src2pkg-helpers sources. This is used to provide support for the INSTALL_TYPE=UNION option to src2pkg. This option can also be used with the unionfs kernel module if present, but unionfs-fuse appears to be more reliable than unionfs(at least for kernel-2.4). - Include this ChangeLog in the combined sources of src2pkg-helpers. Verson-0.5 May 22 2009 - Added patch to include support in tar-1.13 for xz/lzma2 compression - Upgraded to libsentry-0.6.7.6 which adds support for glibc versions from 2.8 to 2.10.
