The inf[1-7] files are intended to be the initial 7 postings of each
new volume.

There are seven introductory messages about comp.sources.misc.
The first describes how to submit sources to comp.sources.misc, where the
archive sites are, and how to contact them. The second, third, fourth,
fifth and sixth list the sources that have been published in this newsgroup.
The seventh posting is a cross index of patches that have been posted in
c.s.misc.

The archive names for the seven postings should be consistent with
each new volume. For example, if the volume being started was volume29,
when posted the archive names would equate to...

    inf1 - intro29
    inf2 - index29.1-7
    inf3 - index29.8-14
    inf4 - index29.15-22
    inf5 - index29.22-27
    inf6 - index29.28-just-ended-volume
    inf7 - patchlog29

The following is a mini checklist of needed changes prior to posting
these files as the initial articles.

    1. Review the address for submissions and for general mail
in inf1 and assure it is correct.

    2. Add or update any information sent about new archive sites
       or site policies in inf1.

    3. Were there any suggestions or policy changes that need to
be discussed ? If so, update the appropriate data file.

    4. Add the last volume's index information to inf6.

    5. Generate an up-to-date patchlog

    6. Spell check and post..
