The popup menu contains the following items:
Edit Edit enables you to modify the selected Data entry. It opens an editor window which contains the Data entry ready for editing.
View View enables you to view the selected Data entry. You can select more than one textual object for viewing.
Show Parent For Data entries, the parent or parents are the data items in which the selected item is referenced. That is, the next level up in the data tree.
Show Traceability Links to
Modular Design. This command opens the Autotracer for the chosen component. The Autotracer automatically displays the Traceability Links from the selected object to Modular Design objects. You can alter the selections in the Autotracer if you want to display the Traceability Links for different objects. If the Autotracer was already open when you used this command then the entries in the Autotracer are updated.
Task Design. This command opens the Autotracer for the chosen component. The Autotracer automatically displays the Traceability Links from the selected object to Task Design objects. You can alter the selections in the Autotracer if you want to display the Traceability Links for different objects. If the Autotracer was already open when you used this command then the entries in the Autotracer are updated.
GUI Design. This command opens the Autotracer for the chosen component. The Autotracer automatically displays the Traceability Links from the selected object to GUI Design objects. You can alter the selections in the Autotracer if you want to display the Traceability Links for different objects. If the Autotracer was already open when you used this command then the entries in the Autotracer are updated.
Rename enables you to rename the selected object. Renaming the data definition of a Store or Flow changes the name of the Store of Flow in the Flow Diagram(s), and in the Mini Specification if the Store or Flow is referenced.
Delete enables you to delete one or more Data objects from the project library. Note: You cannot "undo" this action.
Output
Extract enables you to backup the selected object(s) from the current project library. These backup files can then be restored into a project library using the Load command.
Report enables you to report on the selected data object(s). This command opens a dialog box from which you can change the General Report Options. The content of the report is dependent on the settings of the Requirement Report Options, which are also available from this dialog box.
List Cross References Opens an output window containing the cross reference lists for the selected data object.
Annotations enables you to attach Annotations to an object. The Annotation Selector is opened listing the Annotation types available for the object.
Edit ShortCut Annotations (on selected platforms) This submenu gives you access to the ShortCut Annotations without your having to go via the Annotation Selector.
Data Information enables you to edit the Annotation containing the additional ShortCut data information about the selected data object. A data element that is to be used by ShortCut should be a "non-primitive" data element in ProMod-PLUS. Any data element to which you assign a datatype is regarded by ShortCut as a primitive data element. That is, the refinement of that data element (its data definition) will be ignored by ShortCut.
Access Method enables you to edit the Annotation that contains the ShortCut Access Methods for the selected data object.
