Running SWI-Prolog under win32s =============================== If you are running MS-Windows 3.1 or 3.11 using the win32s version 1.20 or later, you can use the w32pl*.zip versions for Windows 95 and NT. The recent w32pl*.zip versions are considerable more powerful and crash-proof than the winpl195.zip 16-bit version. TO UNPACK THE ARCHIVES, *DO* *NOT* USE W32UNZIP.EXE OR PROLOG WILL COMPLAIN WITH `NOT ENOUGH MEMORY', NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU HAVE. Instead, use unz51x.exe or PKUNZIP to unpack the archives. In the latter case, give the pkunzip option to extract the directory structure as well. SWI-Prolog requires version 1.20 or later (tested 1.20 and 1.30A) of Win32S. There is a copy of Win32S version 1.30A in: ftp://swi.psy.uva.nl/pub/SWI-Prolog/win32s/pw1118.exe This is a copy of a mirror from a British site I've forgotten the name of. The original is available from ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/pw1118.exe --- Jan
