    ===========================

    This  version  of  fetchmail uses the Perl Compatible Regular Ex­
    pression (PCRE) library from
      ftp://ftp.cus.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/programs/pcre/
    for some header-matching magic.

    This version was tested with pcre-2.06.  You should also use this
    version as the  authors of the pcre library  have changed the API
    quite often.

    I  wrote this to be able to retrieve mails from a multidrop mail­
    box for only some recipients.  In my case, one fetchmail  is  run
    by cron on a 24/7 machine at university.  It retrieves only mails
    to some mailing lists and feeds them to procmail for further pro­
    cession.  The other fetchmail is run on my home computer whenever
    I go online. It retains the mails sent to the mailing  lists  and
    gets the rest.
