This is the first "official" release of tftp for Linux TCP/IP. It's not the same as the testing version on nic.funet.fi. Bug fixes: Alarm Clocks. You should have the inetd/config utils installed in /usr/etc/inet to use tftp/tftpd. The following line should be in /usr/etc/inet/services: tftp 69/udp and this one in /usr/etc/inet/inetd.conf: tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/etc/inet/tftpd tftpd Send a HUP signal to or restart inetd after installing tftpd. NOTE: tftp is often looked upon as a security hole, since it provides unauthenticated access to world-readable files. You may wish to reconsider installing it if you don't want unrestricted access to those files. David Black 10/24/92 dlbb0@amdahl.com
