Introduction
Kclock is a clock for the KDE environment with some more. With kclock you
can :
-
show or hide the date
-
show or hide the seconds
-
select analog or digital appearance
-
change font for the digital clock
-
activate a three-dimensional appearance
-
stay always on top
-
save all the options, included the dimension and the position of the clock
-
change fore/back colors
-
copy time & date on the clipboard simply clicking with middle mouse
button in the kclock window
-
remove the window border
-
modify the hour and the date of the system ( calling the new "kcmclock"
kcontrol module )
What's New

Remove the "Date & Time" dialog , now is a separated application (kcmclock)
that was called from kclock

Remove "Get time from the net", too much problem with it :-(

Speech !! Kclock say time every hour trough your audio card ;-)

Installation
For a quick installation type the following at your command prompt:
#./configure
#make
#make install
If there aren't any errors after restart kpanel or KDE you must see
the kclock application icon on kpanel/utilities folder.
To uninstall kclock simply type:
#make uninstall
Notes

Use Utopia bold font for better result with the digital display

kclock works with KDE beta4 and qt library version 1.33
-
If you have any trouble to change system time & date, check out the
"kcmclock" program on .../kde/bin directory.

To activate the kclock menu simply click with the right mouse button on
the kclock area.

To move the kclock without the windows title simply click on it while move
the mouse.

To copy date & time on the clipboard simply click with the middle mouse
button on the kclock area ( on some 2 button mouse this is equivalent
to press left and right buttons at the same time ) .
