This package provides supplimental voice prompt libraries for use with
Bayonne, the telephony server of the GNU project. These libraries are
contributed volunteer efforts, and are construed to be protected under
the terms of the GPL. These voice samples may be copied or modified as
needed so long as they are provided in an accessible form and not hidden
or encrypted or otherwise rendered into an unusable form.

GPL'ing a prompt library may seem a bit odd, but I believe the essential
principles of the GPL can be applied in the specifics of this situation
to assure that these contributed works remain free and accessible in all
derived uses.

The very first release of the contributed supplimental voice library for
Bayonne features Mariza Nicole, who has consented to provide a FrenchF
voice vocubulary.

As a statement of principle, contributions to the Bayonne voice prompt
library may be provided completely anonymously if so desired. Nor will
specific information be provided about contributors unless they
specifically choose to provide it.

Those interested in contributing a voice or helping with language rules or
localizations should contact dyfet@gnu.org.
