Subject: [*] clut-maker-17.hqx
CLUT Maker is an editor for the 8-bit 'clut' resource.
The 'clut' is Apple's 'Color Look Up Table' and is used generally in
graphics environment. For example, the palette animation is done by
rotating color entries in the CLUT attached to some image. CLUT Maker
shows not only the color table, but also color components in some color
models: HSV, HSL, CMY, and RGB.
As CLUT Maker supports importing and exporting of Photoshop's 'CLUT',
you can use this application just as an clut converter.
It also supports 8-bit CLUT of NIH Image, MPW Rez, and TEXT.
CLUT Maker can retrieve the color info from a PICT using color-picking
methods.
CLUT Maker is for you: developers and creators.

Subject: [*] CopyPaste 4.2.1J - Japanese Version
This is the Japanese version of the CopyPaste package.
MacUser Utility of the Year 1996 and America Online's Mac Utility 1996
Shareware Award Winner and Shareware Junkies Mac Program of the Year 1997
**MacOS 8 compatible!
**Full Drag & Drop compatibility!
**Use up to 100 independent clipboards by menu or simple key commands!
**View and access all the clipboard using the CopyPaste Palette!
**Append text to 1 of 10 files on disk at any time!
**Process text, picture and net data on the Clipboards in many ways!
**Use a command key to switch and/or view all applications!
**New pop-up palette function and more!
One of the early wonders of the Mac was its revolutionary ability to do
copy and paste across various applications. Unlike other areas in the
Mac's
system software that have changed and progressed over the years, copying
and pasting has not evolved. How many times have you found yourself going
back and forth copying in one application and pasting in a different
application, wishing to yourself that you could copy 5-10 items at a
time,
then go to another application and paste each of these items. Now you can
with a vengeance!
NEW FEATURES
Changes In Version 4.2.1
* bug fixes:
- those who use the Dvorak keyboard layout can now use CopyPaste
- Renaming Archives and Clip Sets now save
- other minor bug fixes
* the "Use Popup Palette" feature can be toggled on and off by
option-click on the zoom box of the Palette.
Changes In Version 4.2
* A new option in the preferences "Use Popup Palette" when turned ON
allows the Palette to collapse automatically to icon size when the mouse
is not over it, and expand to normal size simply by pointing to the
CopyPaste icon. This is a very handy way to have the Palette available
all the time.
* The Palette is now resizable.
* ClipViewer, ClipExtender and small zoomed Palette can now each have
their individual size and position which is remembered thru restarts. So
you can view the clip in a large window which is centered on the screen
without repositioning the Palette in its ClipExtender state.
* Clips can be trashed in the Clip Viewer mode.
* A new color screenshot utility can be found in the picture utilities
menu.

* Fixed a crash that happened when undoing the Delete Member command
* Fixed a bug introduced in 1.3.1 where the Delete Member command was

playable on my 603e 200mhz. I compiled this as a FAT application, however,

Subject: [*] MacRun 1.1 Final
One of the biggest challenges that the MacOS faces in today's marketplace is
the idea that Windows is better because "it can do things that the Mac
can't." While most of us know this is not entirely true, there is a
mentality out there that is very difficult to overcome. The MacOS can do
most of the things Windows can, and in many cases can do them better.
However, believe it or not, I have heard many people complain that they
don't like to use the MacOS because it doesn't have a "Run" function.
Phooey! The "Run" function of Windows is one of the most inefficient things
I've ever seen when it comes to computer interface design. However, I'm not
going to ignore the "Windoze Whiners." In this case, I'm going to one-up
them.
MacRun is my answer. It, very simply, adds the same functionality to the
MacOS that the "Run..." command gives Windows. It is also much more
configurable than its Windows counterpart as well as much more powerful.
When installed, MacRun will appear very familiar to those Windows users that
desire the "Run..." command. After a bit of use, they won't know how they
could ever stand the Windoze "Run..." command!
This is the FINAL release of the newest version of MacRun (1.1). MacRun
requires a 68020 Mac running System 7.5 (7.1 with Thread Manager installed)
or better. Future updates to MacRun will be available at the SearchWare
Solutions web-site (http://www.radiks.net/search).

Subject: [*] Mini Conversion
Mini Conversion is a small utility, which can manipulate file Type and
Creator signitures as well as changing weather files are visible, name
locked or stationery. In simple terms, Type and Creator signitures are
the codes by which the Mac OS associates files with applications. They
also effect the icon which a file displays on the desktop. It can be
useful to be able to change these if you, for example, have a bunch of
text files which you saved while surfing the World Wide Web. The trouble
is that you don't want to have to open them opening in your web browser
every time you double click them - you want to open them with a great
text editor like BBEdit, so you change the files type and creator codes
so that when you double click on your text files they open straight into
BBEdit. You're not changing anything about the actual file, just what
program the Finder thinks they were made with. Mini Conversion is also
compact so that you can leave it running in the corner of your monitor
while you work :)

switch between running applications with the alt-tab keystroke. Many Mac
users, while not envious of the other operating system, wished the
MacOS(tm) would have a similar feature. Program Switcher is meant to not
only add that feature to your Macintosh, but also improve on it so that
the other operating system's users will wish their alt-tab feature was as
good as the Mac's.
Features include:
- Seven different switching themes
- The ability to quit any number of applications at one time
- The ability to hide specific applications with a keystroke
- User configurable keys and appearance
- MacOS 8 Appearance Manager and Kaleidoscope savvy
- MacOS 8 Contextual Menus support
