Subject: [*] AMICO 2.1.1J - Japanese Version
This is the Japanese version of the AMICO package.
AMICO is a utility for the apple menu. It simply lets you change the order
of the items that appear in the apple menu, in a very easy way. You can also
insert divider lines to group related items together.
In addition, instead of inserting divider lines, you can tell AMICO to
insert divider titles. Divider titles are dimmed apple menu items that look
like category labels. The divider title can be displayed in Bold, Italic,
or Underline styles.
AMICO is expected to run on any Macintosh model with system 7 or later,
including Mac OS 8.
Changes in version 2.1.1J
- Fixed a minor bug that caused the Apple Menu not to be drawn properly if
an item with name メ-<モ (without the quotes) existed in the

The Comp.Sys.Mac.Programmer Digest is moderated by Mark Aiken
(marka@ee.mcgill.ca).
The digest is a collection of article threads from the internet
newsgroups comp.sys.mac.programmer.help, csmp.tools, csmp.misc and
csmp.games. It is designed for people who read news semi-regularly and
want an archive of the discussions. If you don't know what a
newsgroup is, you probably don't have access to it. Ask your systems
administrator(s) for details. If you don't have access to news, you
may still be able to post messages to the group by using a mail server
like anon.penet.fi (mail help@anon.penet.fi for more information).
Each issue of the digest contains one or more sets of articles (called
threads), with each set corresponding to a 'discussion' of a particular
subject. The articles are not edited; all articles included in this digest
are in their original posted form (as received by our news server at
ee.mcgill.ca). Article threads are not added to the digest until the last
article added to the thread is at least two weeks old (this is to ensure that
the thread is dead before adding it to the digest). Article threads that
consist of only one message are generally not included in the digest.

copy/paste to your folders, including lots of folders that are made for

Subject: [*] German's Patterns v3.0.sit
This is my third release of Patterns for the Mac.
As you may know, you can use this patterns for your Mac, or as your Web
pages backgrounds. You can use them with system 7 or MacOS8 (what a great
OS!).
These patterns are freeware, so you can use and abuse them all you want,
you can give them to your friends, put them on any commercially available
CD-ROM, or you can trash them. But, if you like some of them, send me an
email telling me so. I will be glad to receive it.
And I will be glad, too, if you do something good for our Apple or Mac
(evangelize a Wintel user, buy another Mac, pay for the shareware, etc.).
These patterns were checked with Disinfectant 1.7.
Thanks to Rob Gonsalves for developing "TextureMill", great application
that helps me to create some of these patterns.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM
YOUR ATONAL AMIGO
- JARED, THE BUTCHER OF SONG
JARED'S CHRISTMAS=A9
(Liner Notes)
Reprinted with permission from
"Touching Me, Touching You, Touching Me Again: A JARED discography".
While Central America has seen more than its share of atrocities in
recent years; never before has a lovely Christmas song been brutalized
as thoroughly as by the vocal stylings of JARED, the Head of Security at
=46REEVERSE SOFTWARE.
Like an angry Immigration officer, Jared's distinctive rendition grabs
us, slaps us around, threatens to cavity search us and ultimately
demands our passport be issued from that same circle of hell from which
his voice originates.
Never has the mating of cats sounded so melodic as after one has
listened to "El Carnicero de Canciones," the "Butcher of Songs," as
Jared was known in Guatemala. Yet, this is perhaps the worst part; one
is somehow drawn to his song, playing it over and over again. So
listen to, "Felize Navidad", and suffer -- for this is art.

Jeremy's Control Strip Modules Release 1.7.3
Author's email address: jbkezer@kagi.com
Jeremy's Control Strip Modules is a package of Control Strip Modules,
designed to work with Apple's Control Strip software. The modules are:
* Jeremy's CPU speed CSM - Displays current clock speed in MHz, or
indicates relative full/reduced clock speed with tortoise/hare icons. You
can also select the clock speed after you restart.
* Jeremy's Battery CSM - Replaces Apple's Battery Monitor module, but
displays more battery information in a smaller area! Also displays hard
drive status, modem status and remaining battery time.
* Jeremy's Clock CSM - Displays the current time. Via a popup menu, you
can customize the appearance of the display.
* Jeremy's Sound Volume CSM - A direct replacement for the Sound Volume
module provided by Apple. The icon shows the current volume setting in
both numeric and pictoral form, so you don't need to bring up the menu to
determine the current volume.
* Jeremy's Sleep CSM - A direct replacement for the Sleep Now module
provided by Apple. Via the popup menu, you can select whether or not to
bypass the dialog that appears when AppleTalk is active.
* Jeremy's Battery Time CSM - Displays Apple's remaining battery time on
PowerBooks that are capable of it. It can also "learn" the battery life on
any model of PowerBook, or display the elapsed battery time.
* Jeremy's Temperature CSM - Displays the internal temperature of a
PowerBook Duo or PowerBook 500 series.
* Jeremy's Application CSM - Displays a count of currently running
applications and DA's. Also has popup menu that lets you select foreground
application.
* Jeremy's AppleTalk CSM - Replaces Apple's AppleTalk CSM, but displays
more information.
* Jeremy's EnergyStrip CSM - Replaces the PowerBook or Energy Saver
Control Panel, and lets you adjust power conservation settings from the
Control Strip.
* Jeremy's Power Countdown CSM - Shows how much time remains before power
conservation features activate.
Release 1.7.3 fixes a resizing bug in the Temperature CSM.

Subject: [*] trans4motion-engl-demo / realtime motion painting
TransForMotion is an exceptional paint software.
It is a unique tool for realtime motion painting on the Macintosh.
Takes video, QuickTime movies, QTVR and pictures as input.
Create dazzling animations and have fun with realtime video input.
You do not choose a color and then draw with it, but rather take a
portion of a running video, a QuickTime movie, QTVR or a still picture.
And what you create is not only a picture but a sequence of images, as QT
movie or numbered PICT files. You can create your own brushes with
different paint characteristics.
TransForMotion is a kind of paint software never seen before!
TransForMotion, developed from a video installation, is creative software
for everyone who likes effects and interactive, experimental video art.
This demo is time limited to 45 minutes total usage.

Subject: [*] Ultimate Label Printer Pro 5.0
The Ultimate Label Printer Pro prints labels for CD, Zip, audio
cassette, Jaz, SyJet, EZ Flyer, DAT, MO, and other media cases on plain
paper. Simply cut out the labels and fold them into your cases. Because
the Ultimate Label Printer Pro uses a Plug-In technology, support for
new media can easily be added to match your exact needs. Since there is
NO LIMIT to the number of Plug-Ins you can use, registering once allows
you to take advantage of all of the new Plug-Ins that we are constantly
developing.
The Ultimate Label Printer Pro 5.0 is PowerPC Accelerated, uses Drag and
Drop for text and picture insertion, and now supports fully styled
rotated text, with multiple sizes, fonts, attributes, and colors, as
well as new background color options. High resolution graphics can also
be added to the labels, and can be scaled and repositioned. This update
completely replaces the older Label Printer Pro Series for Mac OS.

Hello, here is the latest version of Ultimate NHL Package, a large
collection of NHL team logos in ICON, GIF and Desktop Clipping format,
plus patterns, and player icons!
Changes in this version include my updated eCard, a new "ESPN" icon,
reorganized icon placement, removal of the IHL icons (I wasn't too happy
with them at all), and two new desktop patterns. This version should
replace any previous version you might have in your archives.
