CopyPaste provides a new and powerful paradigm for working with information. CopyPaste multiplies the clipboard times 100 and makes it quick and easy to archive and retrieve information using familiar Mac OS technologies. Its a totally addictive utility that works invisibly in the background and contains many tools that are useful to every Mac user. The most frequent comment we get is "CopyPaste is now my favorite program. Why haven't I heard about it before?" We hope the press will let users know about CopyPaste. People find that once CopyPaste is installed it becomes essential and makes so much sense that they can no longer live without it. The problem is making more people aware of CopyPaste. CopyPaste is only available online and can be downloaded free at: http://www.scriptsoftware.com it is also on the major shareware archives and AOL. Today with the release of version 4.1, CopyPaste is hundreds of times better and more useful then ever before. CopyPaste is the shareware utility that was awarded a 5 mouse rating by MacUser and was their shareware utility of the year 1996. Shareware Junkies declared it Mac Product of the year for 1997. CopyPaste also appeared in the June 97 Wired and has been featured in MacWeek, TidBits, MacAddict and many other magazines. CopyPaste magnifies the clipboard in many different ways and has been very popular with web developers, editors, writers, dtp professionals and everyone who uses the clipboard. One of the early wonders of the Mac was its revolutionary ability to do copy and paste across various applications. Unlike other areas in the Mac's system software that have changed and progressed over the years, copying and pasting has not evolved. How many times have you found yourself going back and forth copying in one application and pasting in a different application, wishing to yourself that you could copy 5-10 items at a time, then go to another application and paste each of these items? Now you can, with a vengeance! * Clip Extender - now gives 100 easy to access clipboards via menu or key command. * CopyPaste Palette - a floating windoid that gives the easiest access to the clipboards and to all CopyPaste features. Mercutio menus may also contain "dynamic menu items" that allow a single menu item to change depending on what modifiers are held down. This keeps menus shorter while allowing the flexibility of keyboard shortcuts. Mercutio features include: - Support for all 4 modifier keys (command, shift, option, control) - Support for non-printing keys (function keys, page up/down, arrow keys, etc) - Graphic icons for non-printing keys: non-printing key equivalents such as page up/ down, home/help, etc. can be drawn as text OR as icons that look like the keys on the extended keyboard. - Dynamic items: items whose contents change depending on what modifier keys are being held down (e.g. when the option key is held down, Save becomes Save All). - Application callback routine to let you decide on the fly what the item contents should be. - Support for icon suites, small and large icons, and SICNs in hierarchical menu items. - Support for window font/size: Mercutio now correctly draws popup menus in the current font and size. This means you can use Mercutio for Geneva 9-pt popup menus and the like. - Support for WorldScript. Mercutio now supports menus in non-western scripts (Japanese, Arabian, etc), and correctly draws under right-to-left system text alignment. - User-definable style mapping: developer determines which style bits are used as feature flags [Archived as /info-mac/dev/mercutio-mdef-151.hqx; 488K] ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 28 May 1998 12:05:58 -0700 From: PRackette@aol.com Subject: [*] MWCalculus 2.7.1 MWCalculus 2.7.1 - is the faster way to calculate a Molecular Weight. What's Reanimator? Reanimator is a utility for automatically restarting all applications and background-only processes killed by another process. It can also be used to quit all running processes and restart them later. A process is a program running on your computer. When you launch an application, you start a new process. Desk accessories are also processes, while control panels are treated as extensions of the Finder process (see the "Technical details" section below for further info). There are also processes that don't show up when running: they are called background-only processes. Many shareware and freeware extensions run as background-only processes. Reanimator itself, works that way. I'm used to run a number of applications and extensions in the background (D=E9cor, MyEyes, DragThing, Eudora and other occasional utilities) and I wa= s tired of relaunching each one of them after running an installer, rebuilding the desktop using a dedicated utility or running a game instructed to quit all other processes, including the Finder. Reanimator accomplishes this task in a single, quick operation. What's new in 2.O.2? General: - Recompiled with CodeWarrior=AE Professional release 3. - Changed postal address in the software and the documentation. Control Panel specific: - Fixed a bug that caused the daemon to hang during abnormally long reanimations, for example when the Finder requested to insert a diskette or other types of removable media. To avoid this problem, the control panel now deactivates the daemon during reanimations. - Fixed a cosmetic bug that caused dialog items with focus rectangles not being properly drawn when selecting the Black & White theme in the Appearance control panel or setting the monitor to 1 bit depth. - Now the enabling/disabling of the Edit menu is correctly handled within all dialogs. - Updated URLs in the About dialog. - Changed Balloon Help icon to a more consistent one. - Removed some unused resources. - Various small bug fixes and code improvements. Daemon specific: - Fixed a bug that caused error messages issued through the Notification Manager not being displayed when the error forced the daemon to quit. - The daemon now responds to the 'activate' and 'deactivate' Apple Event= s. System Requirements 68020/030/040 or PowerPC; 64 KBytes free memory for the extension; Mac OS 7.1 or later. Distribution Reanimator is 8$ shareware. You can distribute Reanimator freely, provided that you leave the software and the accompanying documentation unchanged. You can include Reanimator in CD-ROMs and other software collections only by previous agreement. Program description: YP Circular simulates an object in uniform circular motion and/or an object in simple harmonic motion. Both motions (circular and harmonic) may be animated simultaneously to show that the uniform circular motion is a combination of two simple harmonic motions. Physics teachers use YP Circular to show that the velocity is tangent to the circle and that the centripetal acceleration is directed toward the center of the circle, in a uniform circular motion.
