This LICENSE defines the terms and conditions under which the
copyrighted source code to the software known as EuroBridge Widget Set
version 4.0, also known as "Xew 4.0" (the "SOFTWARE") can be used for

included in the Xew/Copyright file allows only free non-commercial

Research Center of Finland (Information Technology).

license to use, copy, modify and distribute the SOFTWARE for any

	Some original code snippets from the Athena (Xaw) widget
	library have been used as templates, and in such cases the MIT
	copyright statement is left in. It does not prevent free
	commercial use.

  Copyright 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 by John Bradley and
  The University of Pennsylvania
	In ImageTools.c three functions (InitSpline, EvalSpline and
	GenerateFSGamma) have been borrowed from the 'xv 2.x'
	application. These functions may have to be rewritten for
	commercial use.

	In Raster24to8.c again some code from 'xv 2.x' is adapted to
	the needs of the Xew. Again, for commercial use, this part may
	have to be changed.

  Copyright (C) 1989, 1991 by Jef Poskanzer.
	In ImageTools.c, ppmquant algorithm is used. It does not
	prevent free commercial use.

  Copyright (c) 1988, 1989 by Patrick J. Naughton
	RasterGIF.c is based on this original code. It does not
	prevent free commercial use.

	**WARNING** However, the GIF is based on LZW compression and
	UNISYS is enforcing their patent on LZW against GIF encoding
	and decoding. For commercial use, you will need a license from
	UNISYS for GIF reading.

	The XeVideo only implements MPEG decoding and the decoding
